    This is one of the first transmission used in a motor vehicle and is fully hydraulic controlled with a Kickdown cable etc.
    This transmission was designed by ZF which later has been sold to Punch Power which is making several modells of CVT Trannsmissions
     used in the Rover vehicles, MGF Mini and MGF and Mini and several Korean and Chines vehicles.
    It is a reliable transmission solong you do the oil changes on time and use the right CVT oil.
    Most failures are caused by lack of maintenance or using the wrong oil.
