This Pitot pipe is situated in the housing and you can easely brake it when you split the case.
It can also be called a mechanical speed sensor and it is feeding oil in the valve body together with the pitot pipe fitted in the oil pump.
Don't try to repair it it will not work When it is broken or damaged the transmission will not shift up in higher ratio
